Laiye Expands International Team to Widen Global Footprint
Laiye, Asia’s leading Intelligent Automation provider, has expanded its international team to further position the company for global expansion. In addition to appointing numerous strategic executives, Laiye has successfully established its new overseas office in Singapore to serve as the headquarters of the Asia Pacific region.
The expanded international team includes:
Weng Jiaqi, vice president and CTO of overseas business
Previously vice president and the head of the Delivery Empowerment Center at Laiye, Jiaqi has over 30 years of international experience in product development and artificial intelligence. He will strengthen Laiye’s Intelligent Automation solutions by implementing multiple language support and advancing its overall functionality. He strongly believes in the value of user-friendliness and convenience as key factors in overseas markets.
“What is important in overseas markets is the products’ learnability and ease of use. If partners cannot master our intelligent automation solutions, they will struggle to compete in the global marketplace. We place great importance on making our products as user-friendly as possible,” he said.
Gary Saw, general manager of Southeast Asia Business
Alongside overseeing the management of the Singapore office, Gary is responsible for all aspects of work related to Laiye’s growth across Southeast Asia. A veteran in the IT and software industry with broad experience in various high-tech businesses, Gary said his reason for joining Laiye was his strong belief in the company having great potential to realize market opportunities in the global space.
“By 2030, the market potential of artificial intelligence and automation in Southeast Asia will reach $1 trillion. Laiye will seize this opportunity to reshape the future of artificial intelligence and automation, and allow artificial intelligence and automation to touch all aspects of daily life,” he said.
Peter Pang, head of sales of Southeast Asia Business
Peter brings deep expertise and decades of experience working in multinational IT firms such as IBM and Oracle, where he was responsible for sales execution and business development activities for enterprise-grade solutions. He emphasizes the value of intelligent automation in enabling businesses to achieve a people-centered approach.
“It is important to empower companies to be more human-centric by using humans to empathize with human needs while using AI-capable digital workers to deliver the desired outcomes,” he said.
The company’s current global footprint spans Asia and Europe, with international partners and clients, including Microsoft, Cathay Capital, Nike, SAMART, and Merck. In its ongoing global expansion, Laiye will be mindful of the expectations and technological trends prevalent in local regions to ensure its solutions are relevant to the target markets.
Guanchun Wang, chairman and CEO of Laiye, stated in his 2021 Lunar New Year speech: “As one of the few RPA providers with native AI capabilities and large dual ecosystems of developers and partners, Laiye is confident that it will be able to deliver world-class intelligent automation products to serve the global community.”
Going forward, Laiye will partner with prominent enterprises in Southeast Asia while collaborating with small and medium enterprises in Europe. Laiye plans to showcase its superior capabilities by demonstrating its solutions in challenging scenarios and providing customers in the European market with solid developer capabilities. Additionally, Laiye will continue to recruit high-skilled overseas talent in vertical industries to unlock new opportunities in the global marketplace.
